    A group of western Kentucky investors bought MidAmerica Jet for an undisclosed price, promising to add planes to the charter flight service. MidAmerica Jet's new president, John Ray, said the company will lease airplanes from people, then serve as a booking agent and provide pilots rather than owning the planes. The company seeks to become an alternative to commercial airlines, Ray said.
